Supply Chain Manager based in Sofia

It has production plants in Beijing (China), Geneva (Switzerland), and Machida (Japan).                                                               

In relation to the establishment of a new production site in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced
Supply Chain Manager
Based in Sofia

You will be in charge of the inbound supply chain and purchasing functions of LEM Bulgaria. You will work in close collaboration with the local ACS (Administrative Customer Service) team and local operations team.

The position reports to the Operations Manager/ GM with a dotted line to the Group Supply Chain Manager and Group Sourcing Manager.

Your challenges:

    Building up the supply chain(planning, procurement and warehouse) and purchasing team of LEM Bulgaria, motivating the team focusing on performance and continuous improvement
    Defining and deploying the logistics facilities at the plant: warehouse, logistics equipment and tools, making sure it should be safe, optimized and expandable
    Developing and implementing the supply chain and purchasing system of LEM Bulgaria by following group system (procedures of purchasing, planning, procurement and warehouse)
    Deploying the ERP system as the major tool of supply chain management
    Managing the CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning) process and supporting operations manager in resources management
    Take a leading role in the promotion of supplier selection and development, superior supplier performance and continuous improvement
    Optimizing cost by developing local supplier base

Your profile:

    University degree in Logistics, Engineering or Economics
    5 years of experience in supply chain management in an industrial production site
    Extensive experience in purchasing and supplier management
    Strong computer literacy and deep knowledge of ERP system in an industrial environment
    Startup/ early stage experience in manufacturing plant (adv.)
    LEAN manufacturing experience (strong advantage)
    Record in an international company is a must
    Fluency in English
    Well-developed leadership skills
    Team player with excellent communication and neGOtiating skills
